The high school Class of 2020 has had a rough year, Spring sports, academic and band competitions, prom and in some cases, even graduation itself cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We at Kicker 102.5 wanted to do something to help, and thanks to some terrific sponsors were able to come up with a $400 scholarship for a lucky 2020 senior.

Bowie County Emergency Operations Center reports a total of 157 positive COVID-19 cases, with 88 recoveries and now 13 related deaths. Cass County has a total of 32 with 27 recoveries and 1 death. The Texas Department of Criminal Justice reports 111 positive cases at the Barry B. Telford Unit. Miller County has 49 total cases, 7 active positive cases, 757 negative results, 41 recovered, 1 death. (

Phase 3 of Texas Drivers License Offices re-opening is this Wednesday, June 3 and Texarkana and New Boston DL Offices are included. However, strict rules and procedures must be followed.
