Junior League of Texarkana

The Junior League of Texarkana will host its second annual "Once Upon a Prom," an event designed to ensure all local high school juniors and seniors in need of a prom dress can get one, on February 20, 2016. The event will take place at First Baptist Church on Moores Lane.

The Junior League of Texarkana is proud to debut its newest project, "Clothes for a Cause." An extension of the bi-annual Shoes for the Soul event with Payless Shoe Source, the Junior League has partnered with Target to provide children not only shoes but also a new outfit including pants, shirts, socks and undergarments.

The Junior League of Texarkana will host its 30th annual Mistletoe Fair November 19-22 at the Four States Fairgrounds to ring in the holiday season. The Fair will welcome more than 65 merchants from all over the area and region for this fun-filled event.

This month, "Teacher Take Wing," a project of the Junior League of Texarkana, was awarded 27 grants, totaling $12,000 to area educators in seven school districts.

Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 3, as an estimated 70 volunteers from the Junior League of Texarkana will purchase new shoes at Payless Shoe Source in the Richmond Ranch Shopping Center for children in need in our community.
