We are so excited to find out that Texarkana is now in the Semi-Finals to win $25,000 to give the Amtrak area downtown a very, very, very much needed makeover. We've seen a lot of great renovations and improvements going on in downtown Texarkana. Now we really have a chance to win that facelift for our Amtrak Area in the Union Station building downtown. All we have to do is vote online!
Leadership Texarkana celebrated local excellence in community leadership at their 10th annual Lunch with Leaders at Northridge Country Club on April 9, with the awarding of the organization’s Leader Of The Year Award, as well as honoring community leaders through Leadership Texarkana’s annual Wilbur Awards. The luncheon was sponsored by Texarkana Emergency Center.
It’s time for high school students to apply for Leadership Texarkana’s summer leadership program, Today’s Youth–Tomorrow’s Leaders (TYTL). The purpose of Today's Youth Tomorrow's Leaders is to start young to engage and equip high-school-aged leaders from throughout the community in working together for community excellence, pride and progress.
Leadership Texarkana is offering a new community leadership program for senior adults in partnership with the SAGE program at Texarkana College. The program is designed to engage and equip senior adults for new thinking about our community as they are given the opportunity to learn more about what’s to love, and where the challenges lie, and in the process, to imagine potential new opportunities
