It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in East Texas with the "Wonderland of Lights" festival in the historic downtown area.

We have finally made it to November and the holiday season is almost here. Like many folks what would the holiday season be without heading outdoors to look at Christmas light displays? There is a brand new holiday-themed park that is getting ready to open on November 18, minutes from Texarkana.

It's almost that time again for the 33rd Annual Wonderland of Lights Festival in Marshall, Texas. Thanks to the Cty of Marshall, Marshall Convention Center and the Visitor's Bureau and Main Street Marshall.

The Marshall Symphony Orchestra and the Marshall Regional Arts Council presents their annual Downtown Concert “Jeans 'n Classics: the Music of U2 and Queen”. This annual event takes place under a large tent in the middle of Marshall's historic downtown square on Saturday, Sept.15.

If you are like many folks, starting this weekend families will start venturing outdoors to find places to go to observe Christmas lights. Over the past few days I've been sharing a few of my favorite places to do just that. One place I haven't mentioned yet, is the 31st Annual anniversary celebration of the Wonderland of Lights Festival in Marshall, Texas.

Over the Thanksgiving weekend we had the chance to show off a little Texas tradition to some family members from Maine. We loaded up the vehicle and headed to Marshall, Texas for their Annual Wonderland of Lights.

Christmas spirit will be center stage in Marshall, Texas on Wednesday, November 27,  during the magical Samsung Holiday Celebration Show, opening the 27th annual Wonderland of Lights Festival.

Ghosts, goblins and things that go bump in the night will be center stage in Marshall, Texas when the Afterlife Research Team and Para Encounters Network bring their paranormal services to Marshall while hosting Haunted Holidays, "Ghosts of the Past, Present and Future" on November 9.

Looks like it's going to be beautiful weekend to head outdoors to the Marshall Bike Rally April 26-28 to benefit Shriners Children's Hospital  of Shreveport. Hundreds of bikers and spectators are expected during the weekend long event in Marshall, TX.
