Morris County/Naples, Texas To Get New Natural Gas Power Plant
Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation (AECC) is moving forward with plans to construct a 900-megawatt (MW) natural gas generation facility in Morris County, Texas, near Naples. Ground-breaking is scheduled for the summer of 2026, the plant is expected to be operational by 2029.
