It's that time a year again when, "I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream." Nothing is more refreshing than some cold ice cream on a long hot summer day. July happens to be 'National Ice Cream Day' so that means lots of ice cream.

It's almost the middle of July and by all indications this is going to be a long hot summer. However, nothing is more refreshing than cooling off with some good old fashioned ice cream. You can celebrate National Ice Cream Month with an Ice Cream Party at the Discovery Place Children's Museum in downtown Texarkana.

July is National Ice Cream month! Oh, yeah it's official! It has been since 1984 when Ronald Reagan designated the month of July to celebrate ice cream! He also declared the third Sunday in July to be National Ice Cream Day. Cool that's this Sunday! Did you know the flavor of ice cream you like says something about your personality?
