Texarkana's Veterans Day Parade Is This Saturday, November 9, starting at 11 AM in downtown Texarkana, Arkansas/Texas. This year's theme is a Salute to Women in the Military.

The City of Texarkana, Texas, in partnership with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), will host a bicycle and car seat safety event on Saturday, November 9th. The event will take place from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Texarkana, Texas City Hall, located at 220 Texas Blvd.

The Texarkana Texas Police are reporting a 41 year old Texarkana man was struck and killed by a vehicle early this morning on 369/Jarvis Parkway, just north of West 7th Street.

The actual Veterans Day is Monday, November 11, but the Veterans Day Parade is this Saturday, November 9 in downtown Texarkana.
