Last Friday night Pleasant Grove Hawks did something amazing, they won their semi-final game to guarantee a repeat shot at the State Finals in Class 4A Division 2. That's awesome!

Friday night Texas Playoff football continues for our Pleasant Grove Hawks as they take on the Iowa Park Hawks at the Star in Frisco, Texas.

The Pleasant Grove Hawks at 4-1, are on the road this week to take on another Giant in unbeaten Carthage.

They say good programs don't re-build they just re-load and that's what the Pleasant Grove Hawks Baseball team expects to do again this baseball season.

The Hawks improved to 5-0, with a 63-0 whitewashing of the Krum Bobcats last Friday.

Really it was more of a John Williams interview with two of the Pleasant Grove coaches and three of the pitchers this morning around 7:30. I'm a baseball fan, but I'm a schlub next to news and sports guru John Williams. So when we get the coaches in I usually just sit back and relax a bit.

A huge crowd was on hand at Pleasant Grove Middle School this past Friday night as the boys baseball and girls softball teams were both in playoff action.
