Pleasant Grove ISD welcomes Chad Caldwell as its new Police Chief, set to assume duties on December 2, 2024.

Friday the 13th sure wasn't unlucky for one group from Texarkana as congratulations are in order for the Pleasant Grove High Cheerleaders who came in 2nd place in their division in the State of Texas UIL Championships.

Congratulations to the 2021-2022 Pleasant Grove Independent School District Teachers of the Year.

The Pleasant Grove ISD Board of Trustees met on Thursday, July 22 and approved Kristen Giles for the position of Pleasant Grove High School Principal. Giles is no newcomer to this district, she has been with PG for 27 years.

Once again Texarkana makes a name for itself. This time congratulations to both Texas High School and to Pleasant Grove High School. Both schools have been given a great honor as the Pleasant Grove Hawk Yearbook and the Texas High Tiger yearbook were both recently recognized as two of the Top 100 publications in the country by the National Scholastic Press Association.

Pleasant Grove High School students competed in a regional art exhibition and did extremely well.

Pleasant Grove sports has been doing some amazing things the last few years, including winning District, Regional and State Championships. This time we go down a different hallway, away from the athletic department and into the Theatre Department for these, and congratulations to all!
