A cold front is expected to trigger widespread thunderstorms across the Pineywoods on Wednesday. Some of those could be severe with isolated tornadoes.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott activated state resources trying to get out ahead of the severe weather and flash flooding that is impacting the State now and will be over the next few days. Severe storms will be crossing our State most of the week and with them could come very large hail, damaging winds, flash flooding, river flooding, and the potential for tornados.
With the severe storm season just ramping up in the four-state area and the continuing COVID-19 outbreak, the Arkansas Department of Health has some guidelines to follow in the event of major storm damage.
