This year marks the 40th anniversary the movie 'Smokey and The Bandit' hit theaters. So, of course there is no better way to celebrate than with a welcoming party for the Bandit Run this Saturday, June 17 from 10AM-3PM in Texarkana behind the Four States Auto Museum in downtown Texarkana.

This weekend Railfest 2012 is set for Saturday, May 12 and Sunday May, 13 in the Front Street Plaza, Downtown Texarkana. In addition to everything going on this weekend it's the 35th Anniversary of the iconic movie Smokey and the Bandit, and the 6th year of the Bandit Run by Restore a Muscle Car and by Main Street Texarkana.
