Did you go see Stephanie Rice last Friday night (6/16) at Scottie's Grill? Rice who was a contestant on NBC's The Voice this season finished in 11th place before being eliminated. Stephanie was back in her hometown of Texarkana to perform a homecoming show and friends, family and fans, turned out in droves to watch her perform and say 'thank you' to the community.

Last night on NBC's "The Voice" eliminations results show, Texarkana, Texas native Stephanie Rice was sent home after a gutsy performance attempt to be saved by America. Both Mark Isaiah and Rice had the fewest votes and had to sing one last time for the Instant Save voting portion of the show. Unfortunately, in the end, it was Isaiah who was voted through and moved into the Top 10 next

Congratulations to Texarkana native Stephanie Rice. She did it again! On Monday night's episode of The Voice on NBC, it looked like Rice was heading home in the Knockout rounds after her performance of the Taylor Swift song "Safe & Sound," but thanks to a button push steal from Alicia Keys, Rice has made it into the live playoffs that begin on Monday.

The 12th season premiere of NBC's "The Voice" kicked off Monday night and I was pleasantly surprised to see that a Texarkana native was on the show. Stephanie Rice a 27-year old from Texarkana, Texas performed the Kelly Clarkson song "Piece By Piece" and said the song in a lot of ways is her own story.
