Supergirl’s Season 2 finale is blowing up with DC favorites, but perhaps most intriguing of all is the appearance of General Zod; too notable a villain for such a fleeting debut. Whatever Superman’s Kryptonian foe is doing on Supergirl, producers tease the finale’s “cameo surprise,” and how Zod will look compared with other interpretations.

Based on the images we’ve seen so far (and just the images), it’s fair to assume that Justice League is a movie about A. a long-haired metal-head who starts a rock cover band with a group of people in unnecessarily elaborate costumes, or B. a team of superheroes who spend their time aggressively posing and staring at things offscreen. Either way, it seems like it could be a good time.

Supergirl had its fun introducing an actual Superman early into Season 2, though it stood to reason Tyler Hoechlin wouldn’t be sticking around forever. Naturally, fans would love to see the brighter, cheerier take on the Man of Steel again, to which CW head Mark Pedowitz updates on the possibility of a return, or perhaps even a spinoff.

Supergirl notably fell behind her CW counterparts in delivering footage, but you know how it goes when the girl of steel is ready for action – up, up and away! See for yourself as both Kara and her Super-cousin take flight in the first official footage from Season 2 of Supergirl.

Supergirl has an understandable habit of introducing characters once or twice removed from the core Superman cast, but the arrival of the big guy himself will bring another notable DC name. Season 2 confirms that Metallo will square off against Supergirl and her cousin, as played by Frederick Schmidt.

Seemingly confirming rumors that the Man of Steel will be wearing a black suit in Zack Snyder’s next superhero epic, Henry Cavill shared a new close-up shot of the Superman costume from the set of the upcoming film — and although you can’t see the entire thing, it is most certainly black.

Fans are more anxious than ever for a look at Supergirl Season 2, its first on The CW, and with a bonafide Superman, and the Vancouver set brings all kinds of DC goodies. Looks like we’ll see Kara’s version of Metropolis and Luthor Corp in the latest set photos, plus … Stephen Amell?

Unfortunate news for fans of former Lois Lane and revered star Noel Neill, as the iconic Adventures of Superman star has passed away at age 95. Neill had portrayed the famous DC supporting character as early as 1948, including cameos in both Richard Donner’s 1978 update and 2006's Superman Returns.

Following the Batman vs. Superman info dump that came out of Comic-Con, we thought it might be a while before we saw or heard anything from the upcoming superhero movie. After all, we did get an extended new trailer, new images and a new poster. But today, we have three new Batman vs. Superman pics each showing off one of the film’s three main characters: Batman, Superman and Lex Luthor.

Someday I will make it to Comic-Con. Yes, I'm a dork and I fly my dork flag high when it comes to things like this. To be honest, I may have already watched this trailer three times and not only do you see the bat suit and a preview of why Batman hates Superman, but also Lex Luther (Andy Sandberg) with hair and the superheros face to face...

We really don't know much about how Wonder Woman will fit into the plot of 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.' We do know that she's being played by Gal Gadot and that she will, somehow, get some screen time alongside Henry Cavill's Superman, Ben Affleck's Batman and Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor. But that's about it ... until now! Thanks to a tiny snippet (caught on Vine, no less) we now know that DC's Amazon warrior will forego her classic origin story in favor of her modern beginning.

Just when you think you're officially over the whole ALS Ice Bucket Challenge thing, Amy Adams and Henry Cavill go ahead and do one from the set of 'Batman vs. Superman.' And they do it in costume, too. Yes, this may be your one and only opportunity to watch people pour buckets of ice water on Superman's head.
