Last Saturday, Mardi Gras on Front Street in Downtown Texarkana was a lot of fun despite the cold! It all started at 10AM and because of the cold weather I think some people might have had a tough time getting out of bed, I know I did!

The Texarkana Mardi Gras Grand Parade was a fascinating event and I have even more video to show you.

The Krewe of Koinonia Mardi Gras parade will roll this Saturday at 3 p.m. and beads will be thrown along the entire parade route. This year's parade theme is The Roaring 20s.

The First Annual Texarkana Mardi Gras Festival was a fabulous start to what I am sure is going to be many more events to come.
