The University of Arkansas kickoff their SEC opener against the Texas A&M Aggies at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas this Saturday. Sept. 23, during the Southwest Classic. However, one thing will different when the hogs take the field.

The SEC season begins tonight for the Arkansas Razorbacks as they travel to College Station to face SEC newcomer Texas A&M.

Here's the one highlight from last Friday's Cotton Bowl game that both OU and Texas A&M fans alike will want to save.

The SEC is busy reworking schedules for upcoming seasons to accommodate the new kids coming into the conference and it looks like the Hogs will be the team this affects most.

After leading the Houston Cougars to two 10 win seasons in the last four, Kevin Sumlin is packing up and making the short move to College Station to coach the Aggies as they make their move to the SEC.

The Arkansas Razorbacks and the Texas A&M Aggies, both former members of the now defunct Southwest Conference, have been playing each other since Theodore Roosevelt was President. Now that the Aggies are set to join the Hogs in the Southeastern Conference starting next season, the rivalry looks to be set in stone for years to come and I, for one, couldn't be more excited about it.

The SEC presidents met Sunday and announced, at this time, they will not be extending an invitation to Texas A&M to join the SEC.
