Texas A&M University-Texarkana and the Program for Learning And Community Engagement (PLACE) will be hosting a screening of the film “I Am Jane Doe” followed by a lecture and discussion on censorship vs protection. The event will take place Tuesday, January 29th from 4:00pm-6:30pm in University Center room 210. The event is free and open to the public, and light appetizers will be served. Read

The Program for Learning and Community Engagement at Texas A&M University-Texarkana along with The Library Book Club will feature a discussion of Steve Silberman’s book “NeuroTribes, The Legacy of Autism and the Future of Neurodiversity.” The discussion will be led by Dr. Kevin Williams, A&M-Texarkana Assistant Professor of Instructional Technology.
