I got a chance to go to the Texas High Bacon Fry going on this morning at Texas High School.

The Texas High School Tiger Theatre Company will present a Dave Clemmons Audition & Performance Master Class on Monday, September 14 in the John Thomas Theatre of the Sullivan Performing Arts Center, 3941 Summerhill Road.

Holly Mooneyham, Texas High School Pre-Advanced Placement Ninth Grade English I Teacher, has been selected to represent Region VIII Education Service Center as the Secondary Teacher of the Year and will now move forward as a Finalist for Texas Teacher of the Year.

Kayce Welch, a junior at Texas High School, was selected as the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards Distinguished Finalist for 2015. Nine additional students in the state were honored with this award along with two State Honorees. An estimated 25,000 students across the country were considered for state-level recognition.
