The 2020 U of A Hope-Texarkana Outstanding Faculty Member of the Year, Melanie Dillard, was recently recognized at the annual Arkansas Community College’s Conference. Dillard has been employed at the College for twelve years and currently serves as an Academic Skills and Math Instructor and as the Distance Learning Coordinator.

U of A Hope- Texarkana has a new interim chancellor. University of Arkansas System President Dr. Donald R. Bobbitt has named Laura Clark interim chancellor of the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana (UAHT). Clark, currently the vice chancellor for academic affairs at UAHT, will take over for departing current Chancellor Chris Thomason on July 6.

This individual is someone who renders special and outstanding service to the College, brings distinction to the College, and/or brings recognition to the College through outstanding service and significant contributions to his or her community, state and/or nation.
The 2019 University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana commencement ceremony will be held Tuesday, May 14 at 6:00 PM at Hempstead Hall on the Hope Campus. A total of 435 students from counties in Arkansas, Texas, and Louisiana are expected to graduate.
The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana (UAHT) will hold a Nursing Expo for Employment and Education on April 3, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Hempstead Hall on the Hope campus.
Registration for spring classes at the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana is open now through January 11, 2019. The college will hold extended hours registration on January 7 and 8 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Classes begin on Wednesday, January 9, 2019.
