Get ready Texarkana! This Saturday, September 19th from 9 AM to 1 PM, the joint Complete Count Committee CCC will be hosting a “Respond to the Census” big event.

Arkansas-Side Wins Battle of the Border Census Challenge
On Tuesday, July 28, Texarkana Mayor, Bob Bruggeman and Texarkana, Arkansas Mayor, Allen Brown met at the state line in front of the Federal courthouse and announced a friendly challenge to see which part of the twin city would get the higher percentage of participation in the 2020 Census over the past month.

The 2020 Census is quickly approaching and on Thursday, March 12th the U.S. Census Bureau will begin to mail out the census questionnaires to all communities across America. Invitations to respond will arrive at households March 12-20, 2020.
