
Another Texarkana City-Wide Cleanup Date Coming In September
Texarkana, Arkansas, residents will once again have the chance to take part in the Citywide Cleanup program in 2025, with dumpsters placed across the city on the first Saturday of September and December. The quarterly event is designed to give residents a convenient way to get rid of large, unwanted items and help keep neighborhoods clean.
Texarkana, Arkansas Dumpster Locations
Dumpsters will be available at four park locations:
- Bramble Park
- Bobby Ferguson Park (3415 E. 50th Street, east side gravel parking lot)
- George Williams Park (415 Seibert Street)
- Ed Worrell Park (2000 E. 35th Street)

Prohibited Items
While the program makes disposal easy, certain items will not be accepted. Those items include:
- Tires, automobile parts, and fluids
- Dead animals
- Yard waste
- Building materials, concrete, or railroad ties
- Paint, electronics, and fluorescent tubes
- Hazardous waste, propane tanks, pesticides, asbestos, and industrial materials
Residents are asked to call designated numbers for disposal of restricted items such as appliances, tires, shingles, or electronics.
Remaining 2025 Cleanup Dates
The cleanup dates for 2025 are scheduled for:
- September 6
- December 6
Texarkana Community Effort
Texarkana City leaders encourage all residents to take advantage of the program as a way to improve the appearance of our city while promoting a healthier environment. The initiative is sponsored by the City of Texarkana, Arkansas, in partnership with other local entities.
