Texas High Receives Kicker Cup at Pep Rally Tonight

The Texas High Tiger Football team will be awarded the Kicker Cup City Championship trophy at a playoff pep rally and bonfire tonight.KKYR Radio will present the trophy to Tiger Head football coach Barry Norton and his team at tonight's event. The pep rally gets underway at 6:30 p.m. behind the multi-purpose facility on campus at Texas High.

The traveling trophy is awarded each year to the Texarkana High School football team that finishes the regular season with the best overall record. The Tigers won the City Championship Kicker Cup by going 9-1 this season, including wins over Arkansas High and Liberty-Eylau.
