Last week when Tracy Lawrence was in his hometown area getting ready for his concert at the Four States Fair, Tracy always takes the time to go visit local charity organizations that he's supportive of including Water Springs Ranch. Last Thursday, (September 15) he stopped by the Texarkana College campus, where he spoke to a group of students, including student organization members and scholarship winners.

On his visit Tracy received a surprise of his own, when College president James Henry Russel, and Texarkana College Board president, Mike Sandefur presented him with an honorary Associate of Arts Degree for his work in the music business.

Over the past 15 years, the Tracy Lawrence Foundation has endowed several scholarships to various colleges, including the Texarkana College.

His latest album release is "The Singer", which is available at iTunes and he recently cut a song "Saturday In the South" that will be used during football game telecast on Fox Sports South this fall.
