Arkansas Roadways to See Improvements

The Arkansas State Highway Commission has approved bids for improvements to roadways across the Southwest part of the state.

According to a release from the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department, this includes work in Miller County. A project to reseal over 15 miles of selected sections of County Roads 3 and 6 near Doddridge, County Road 18 near Genoa, County Road 25 near Mandeville, and County Road 29 near Fouke.

In Hempstead County, projects include to resurface 3.5 miles of selected sections of County Road 34, 4.4 miles of County Road 29 near Belton, and 0.6 miles of county Road 278 near Oakhaven.

Also in Howard County a project to resurface 2.3 miles of selected sections of County Road 1 near Mineral Springs.

Finally, a project to resurface a roadway in Sevier County, 5.1 miles of U.S. Highway 70 from the Oklahoma state line eastward.
