This past Saturday morning, May 10 at around 10 AM, Arkansas State Police pulled over a big rig on I-40 near the 30-mile marker close to Ozark. State troopers stopped the truck for a regular traffic violation, but they found much more than they expected.

While the state troopers with checking out the trailer, they found three large pallets filled with 49 boxes of, wait for it... Illegal marijuana. All together, the 49 boxes of illegal weed weighed a crazy 1,135 pounds. That's more than half a ton!

State Troopers are Cracking Down on Drug Trafficking in Arkansas
The driver was from Brooklyn, New York and was identified as 51 year 51-year-old Kok Tse. He was arrested and quickly transported to the Franklin County detention Center. Tse was booked on felony charges of Trafficking a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
