Fans at a recent radio station even in San Jose, Calif., scored an awesome treat when on-the-rise artists Ashley McBryde and Dillon Carmichael teamed up for a duet. Together, the two performed Chris Stapleton's breakout song "Tennessee Whiskey."

Readers can press play above to watch McBryde and Carmichael's duet. Carmichael starts the song off with his deep, traditional country sound while strumming on his guitar. McBryde, meanwhile, stands a little bit away from her microphone and plays her own guitar before stepping up to harmonize with Carmichael on the chorus.

For the second verse, McBryde takes lead, the crowd loudly cheering and singing along with her. She and Carmichael let the audience take the next refrain.

"Y'all, every single show we are blessed to play is very special, but tonight is especially special," McBryde shared from stage before she and Carmichael finished out the song with one final chorus.

Although “Tennessee Whiskey” has been around since 1981, when David Allan Coe released his version of the Dean Dillon- and Linda Hargrove-penned song, the track didn't shoot to popularity until Stapleton recorded it for his 2015 debut album, Traveller. The song, which was also recorded by George Jones, became Stapleton's star-making hit after he and Justin Timberlake performed it and Timberlake's "Drink You Away" in a medley that brought the house down at the 2015 CMA Awards.
