Authorities are investigating the deaths of an elderly couple found in their Dalby Springs home on Sunday, November 17, 2024, in what appears to be a double homicide.

Deputies from the Bowie County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 800 block of County Road 4316 after receiving a call about two suspicious deaths. Upon arrival, they discovered the bodies of Billy Don English, 86, and Sethiena Trudie English, 85.

Officials say the circumstances of their deaths suggest foul play. Investigators, along with the Texarkana Texas Police Department (TTPD) Crime Scene Unit, were called to the scene to examine the residence.

Judge Susie Spelling has ordered autopsies for both victims at the Southwest Institute of Forensic Science to determine the causes of death.
