I'm not saying that this cool looking vortex has taken down a boat yet, but according to experts it very well could if it wanted to.

The intake vortex, which appeared near the Denison Dam on Lake Texoma earlier this month, reaches a peak of 8' in diameter and apparently is a normal occurrence when flood waters are released via the flood gates.

Needless to say it's pretty cool. Plus if you're into learning and that type of stuff, the YouTube page includes plenty of information about the history of the Denison Dam and Lake Texoma.
