Get ready Texarkana it's been 7 years in the making and the wait is almost over for the much-anticipated Bubba's 33, opening on Monday, June 10, 2024.

The new state-of-the-art Texarkana, Texas restaurant can accommodate up to 240 people with parking up to 220 in its new location just off I-30 East 2045 Mall Drive.

Burgers 33 is best known for its Burgers, Pizza, and Beer. All the food at Bubba's is made from scratch including their half-pound signature burgers that are juicy from the first bite top off your meal with their delicious seasoned or fire fries for an unbelievable taste.

There are several varieties of burgers to choose from off their menu depending on what you're craving at the time. I prefer spicy so my pick would be the Spicy Habanero Burger.

If Pizza is your choice you can't go wrong with their homemade stone-baked pizzas like the 33 Deluxe, Buffalo Classic, or the Dickie V where a portion of the purchase goes toward DIckie V's Cancer Research.

You must try their stromboli, signature lasagne, pasta, salads, or hand-crafted sandwiches.

If a hearty dinner is what you are looking for try Bubba's 33 signature 14 oz. Ribeye, Fish and Chips, Southern Fried Chicken, Chicken Tenders, mouth-watering wings traditional or boneless, shrimp, and Seasoned Salmon. Are you hungry yet?

"Burgers, Pizza, Beer" is what Bubba's 33 is famous for but this is a full-service restaurant with something for everyone's taste," said Cody Adams, Local Marketer for Bubba's 33.

The Atmosphere - Take a Peek

Enough about the food let's talk about the atmosphere the moment you walk through the doors you'll be greeted by a cool vintage 1960s Mustang sitting bench tastefully decorated with the State of Texas sign overhead with the words. "Welcome to Texarkana."

The restaurant itself has a retro-vintage lodge feel accented with wood, metal, and brick, all nicely tied together to make for a family-friendly dining experience.

There's even a wall dedicated to representing and honoring all who have served our country. To show their support Bubba's 33 offers all active military and veterans a special discount.

You're gonna love their rock-themed area with rock n' roll memorabilia.

A local sports sitting area with autographed jerseys, helmets, and memorabilia from local high schools, colleges, and professional sports featuring Texarkana players. They were still working on these areas when I took the tour.

"We're super excited to be a part of the Texarkana community offering something for everyone in a family-oriented restaurant with a huge bar area for watching games on one of 48 HDTVs throughout the building, all the TVs can be tied together for watching the big games. during the peak sports season, said Cody Adams." There's even a patio outdoors as well.

"We also have a full-service bar serving 21 taps of beer, including two Texas brands and a great selection of domestic wine and cocktails.

The Mural

On the outside of the building, you can't help but notice the beautiful large painted mural that was done by local artist Darlene Taylor. The mural reflects some of the iconic landmarks that represent the Twin Cities and solidifies Bubba's 33 as a part of the Texarkana community.

Local Owner/ Manager Cody Hildebrand and Local Marketer Cody Adams invite everyone out to the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Monday at 9:30 AM with the restaurant officially opening at  11 AM.

What About The Name Bubba's 33?

The first Bubba's 33 opened in 2013 in Fayetteville, North Carolina, in May 2013. The restaurant was created by Kent Taylor, the founder of Texas Roadhouse. Bubba is Kent Taylor's nickname, and when prohibition ended in 1933, the populace was euphoric. There are 45 Bubba's 33 restaurants in the United States as of February 22, 2024. Texarkana and a new one in Katy, Texas are scheduled to open at the same time.
