The Texarkana Animal League is holding a Smooch a Pooch kissing booth at the Junior League's Mistletoe Fair again this year. All day Friday, Saturday and Sunday you can come by and kiss an adorable puppy or dog and help out a great cause.

Last week, a new director of the animal shelter was hired and it seems the flood gates of controversy have been pushed open. I have always said that the animal shelter is about the ANIMALS...its time to leave the egos out of it.
