Country star Jerrod Niemann rolled into town this past weekend for a concert at Shooters. Jerrod put on a great show and performed his hits" Lover,Lover," and "What Do You Want" as well as some great cover songs.

The Annual Edge Of Texas Songwriters Concert took place Sunday, April 10th at the Northridge Country Club in Texarkana. The show was a benefit for CASA (court appointed special advocates) which is an organization that helps children who have experienced abuse or neglect and are now going through the painful process of recovery.

Scott and Lisa went up to Hooters to do the BC - Goody's Celebrity Shootout to compete for a $150 donation to the charity of their choice... Scott was playing for the "Victory Junction Camp" and Lisa for the "Wounded Warriors Fund".

I had a chance to visit with Justin Moore before he hit the stage this past friday night. I found it amazing that a guy that grew up not far from here in Poyen, Arkansas never played in Texarkana.
