Did ‘Taste of Home’ Find the Best Pumpkin Patch in Arkansas?

Nothing says fall quite like a pumpkin patch. So where can we find the best in our state?

When I think back to my childhood around this time of year, I remember hayrides and pumpkin patches. We used to go to a small amusement park that would open up a portion of the park as a pumpkin patch. You could search for the perfect pumpkin and take a ride on a tractor-pulled trailer covered in hay bails. I remember squeezing my pumpkin tight so that it wouldn't fall off of the trailer.

It's traditions like these that stick with us for the rest of our lives.

Since the start of the fall season, pumpkin patches have been popping up around the nation. Recently, Taste of Home made a list of what they think are the best pumpkin patches in every single state. They believe the best pumpkin patches have pumpkins of all sizes, corn mazes, caramel apples, contests and more.

For Arkansas they chose Peebles Farm in Augusta. Here you can jump on the horse-drawn wagon or if you are in a hurry, you can pick up a pre-picked pumpkin. There is also a corn maze, cotton patch, barnyard and hayrides. Or maybe you want to take your shot at the corn cannon. If you hit the target, you get a free pumpkin of your choice.
