Jason Aldean is this year's ACM Awards Entertainer of the Year! His win was announced during Sunday night's (April 2) awards ceremony in Las Vegas, Nev.

Joe Walsh, who performed the Chuck Berry tribute "Johnny B. Goode" earlier in the broadcast with Dierks Bentley and Luke Bryan, introduced the night's highest honor.

"I am so thankful. You guys are the best," Aldean said from stage. "I love getting up and doing what I do every day. Everybody in this category: Luke, one of my best friends in the world; FGLKeith [Urban], I toured with you; Carrie [Underwood], we've done songs together. I have nothing but respect for all you guys. It's such an amazing group of artists. I'm just glad I get to be a part of it. Thank you fans, for letting me do what I do every night. My wife, I love you, baby ... This is the coolest thing ever.

Jason Aldean released his latest record, They Don’t Know, in September; when it debuted at No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart, it was the third of his albums to do so. Aldean is also an ACM Triple Crown winner, having won Entertainer of the Year in 2016, Male Vocalist of the Year in 2015, 2014 and 2013 and New Male Vocalist of the Year in 2005.
