The new Athletic Director and Head Football Coach at Texas High was introduced to the public at a press conference recently on the Tiger campus.

Coach Stanford has compiled a 47-22 record at both Flower Mound Marcus and before that at White Oak.

In total Stanford has over 18 years overall coaching experience in football and track at 4 different schools in the state of Texas.

Stanford says he his ready to hit the ground running and is looking for a successful and long stay at Texas High, He says," You always want to make it better than when you got there."

Superintendent Norton said they were sure after the applicant field was narrowed and the second round of interviews were held, that Coach Stanford was the man they wanted to lead the Tiger Football team, and the athletic department as a whole.

Stanford's annual salary will be $125,000 according to the superintendent.

Stanford will be literally hitting the ground running, because after lunch he was scheduled to hold meetings with staff and personnel.
