Halloween at Hopkins Featuring Factory Oct. 31

Downtown Texarkana is fast becoming the place to be this Halloween with several Halloween parties that will be going on. Hopkins Icehouse will be having their annual Halloween bash.

Come dressed in your costume and participate in their Halloween Costume Contest, and back by popular demand the band Factory will have everybody out on the dance floor. This is gonna be one heck of a party with ghoulish drink specials, great food, and a performance by DJ's Droopmethod and Rx Evil. Come watch fire-spinning and more.

Hopkins has a unique history in itself for people who grew up here Hopkins was originally built in the early 1900s where rumor has it it was a Ford dealership. In 1936, it became Roy D. Hopkins Feed and Seed store until it closed in 2007. I was talking to a friend the other day, and he told me I used to go downtown on Saturday to the feed store just to look at the baby chicks in the window, and now with the restaurant, I go downtown to watch the chicks at the bar.
