There's an old saying, that nothing lasts forever which brings me to inform you that an iconic brand of hot dogs is being discontinued.

Bryan Weiners

According to company officials, stores that carry the red-color branded 12-pack Bryan Weiner Hot Dogs were notified via email from Tyson Foods that the brand will be discontinued. Meanwhile, Rouse Markets posted about it on their Facebook page. When the news broke there were over 600 comments made and several people were not happy with the news.

Bryan Weiner Hot Dogs has been a popular brand for decades mostly in the southern states, of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, and Texas just to name a few. Their slogan is the "Flavor of the South."

Hot Dog lovers need to stock up now because the last supply of Bryan Weiner Hot Dogs is in stores now, and when it's gone, it's gone for good.

Growing up as a kid I always preferred the red hot dogs to the pink hot dogs, for some reason I always thought they tasted better. Hot Dogs have always been a quick meal, great for grilling or used for special events and birthday parties. Do you know that on the Fourth of July alone, Americans consume a whopping 150 million hot dogs?

Of course, when it comes to hot dogs consumers seem divided on which brand is the best after all there are so many choices out there now from least expensive to very expensive. Hot Dog aficionados would probably argue that just because a hot dog is more expensive doesn't always mean it tastes better.

So far no word on any other Bryan products being discontinued.
