Texarkana Man Accused of Possessing Child Pornography
Bowie County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested an area man and charged him with possessing child pornography on his home computer.
According to a press release, authorities arrested Kenneth Callaway Jr. at his residence on South State Line Avenue after allegedly finding thousands of pictures of children engaged in various lewd sexual acts on his computer and two other hard drives.
Deputies say Callaway allegedly admitted that he had downloaded all the photographs found.
The investigation began after the Sheriff's Office received a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about a person with an IP (Internet Protocol) address in Bowie County transmitting child pornography.
Callaway has been charged with Possession of Child Pornography and booked into the Bi-State Jail with bond set at $100,000 by Judge Nancy Talley.
