How would you like to meet Thompson Square AND do something good for another person at the same time? I love Thompson Square. I think they are adorable and very talented.  Imagine how my love grew when I found out today that they are partnered with Child Fund International.

Here is a little background about Child Fund International.

Our work began in 1938 with an effort to support orphanages for the children who had been left without homes or families in the wake of the second Sino-Japanese War.

What began as a modest effort to sustain orphanages has evolved into a global force working for children encompassing the globe.

Our distinctive approach focuses on working with children, regardless of race, creed or gender, throughout their journey from birth to young adulthood, as well as with families, local organizations and communities globally to create the environments children need to thrive."

What a wonderful organization! If you have time, watch this quick 2 minute video, it left me feeling inspired to help.

Something I really like about Childfund International is they help children here in the US too.

Thompson Square is giving away backstage Meet & Greet passes to anyone that sponsors a child now through March 23rd. They are currently on tour with Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line and will be in Little Rock October 17th. It only costs $28/month to sponsor a child. I am going to take a good hard look at my budget tonight to see if I can find an extra $28/month to sponsor a child. I like that I can correspond with the child and even go visit them one day if I want.

So many of us walk through life only focused on ourselves. The sad thing is that by doing that you miss out on so many wonderful opportunities to feel good about yourself just by helping another human being. If you can spare $28/month, this is a wonderful cause. I know times have been tough, if that is just too much for you, at least share this page with others on Facebook, twitter etc. You never know, maybe one of your friends will be inspired to sponsor a child and it will be because you took two seconds to share. Thanks for being awesome!

Love,
Kendra
