
Clarendon, AR High Football Coach Arrested on Sexual Assault Charges
The Arkansas State Police (ASP) have arrested Clarendon High School football coach Caleb Hunter Gannon, 27, following an investigation into allegations involving a minor.
According to ASP, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from the agency’s Criminal Investigation Division on July 30, 2025. The case involves accusations that Gannon sexually assaulted a minor.
Arkansas Troopers located Gannon during a traffic stop in West Memphis on Sunday, August 10, 2025, and took him into custody without incident.
Gannon appeared in court on Monday, August 11, where he was formally charged with felony rape and engaging children in sexually explicit conduct for use in a visual or print medium. A judge set his bond at $3 million. He is being held at the Prairie County Detention Center.
Authorities have not released further details as the investigation remains ongoing.
