Outreach Committee Needs Your Help!

The local American Red Cross of Texarkana will be having their first meeting of the Outreach Committee July 25, from 11:30 p.m. - 1:00 p. m. at 821 Spruce Street.

The purpose of the meeting is to learn about communication/visibility goals the committee hopes to achieve, as well as putting together the volunteer outreach committee by jobs and interests. If you have skills or training in communication and marketing, and are comfortable speaking to groups, writing media releases or helping recruit volunteers the Red Cross Outreach Committee needs you.

The committee hopes to bring more visibility for the chapter through community events like health fairs, community speaking engagements, recruitment of volunteers, local media, print or online relationships.
