Popular Texarkana Chicken Eatery Closed Today

If you went to Slim Chickens to eat today (1/11) you may have noticed that it was closed and the parking lot was barricaded up. And no, it's not COVID-related or any other thing.

No need to panic! The popular Texarkana eatery is closed today, January 11, for construction repair work on their parking lot, but they should be back open tomorrow, Wednesday, January 12, according to their Facebook page.

"We will be closed today for parking lot repairs. We will reopen at 10:30 am Wednesday. Go ahead and plan to stop on in for lunch or dinner and try the New Memphis BBQ Chicken Sandwich!"

The new Memphis BBQ sandwich sounds delicious. It's a fried chicken breast with tangy bbq sauce, fresh pickles served on a brioche bun. The new Memphis BBQ sandwich will be available for a limited time only!
