The band "Quaker City Night Hawks" have had their music featured on the hit t.v. series "Sons of Anarchy" and now they will be featured on the stage at Shooters Bar & Grill in Texarkana.

The producers of "SOA" have used a few of the band's tunes including "COLD BLUES" on Episode 6 in Season 5, and I really like the band. They have that raunchy, redneck, barroom bluesy rock sound that I love. The band calls it a cross of Hard Rock, Texas Boogie, and Memphis Blues and it sounds to me like brand new hard southern rock right out of 1975. It's soulful, and a sound that you can feel. Here's their song "Fox in the Henhouse"...

The band was also recently featured on Episode 124 of of "The Chevy Music Showcase".

"The Quaker City Night Hawks" will be opening for the band "Whiskey Myers"Some call them "red dirt" others call them "rebel", but they put on an awesome live show that truly rocks. When not on the road (which is MOST of the time) the band prefers spending time with whiskey, jagerbombs, Four Wheelers, and Fishing.

Whiskey Myers - Anna Marie...

The show is Saturday August 17 and sponsored by Moderne Primitives. The chance to see these two bands for only $10 to me is shocking. This will be a show like you have never seen, and one you will talk about. For ticket information visit SHOOTERSTEXARKANA.COM.
