Drones Spotted Near Arkansas Missouri Border
Several drones have been spotted over the Ozark Mountain region near the state line of Arkansas and Missouri. KY3 a local TV station has reported that the Ozark Law Enforcement Center has received numerous calls from individuals who reported seeing drones or something they cannot explain. The Ozark Sheriff's Department continues to investigate what callers are seeing from one drone to a series of drones in rural counties.
One resident claims she witnessed between 20 and 30 drones flying over her property. The drone activity has not only been rampant in the southeast of the county but in the northeastern part of the county as well.
The sheriff's department has been reaching out to state officials and other law enforcement agencies to see if they have been receiving similar calls. The sheriff's department is warning citizens not to shoot down a drone because it is illegal and the fines are hefty.

How to Identify a Drone
Authorities say trying to identify a drone from a distance can be very difficult because it could be a helicopter or plane navigation light you are seeing. Most drones have one bright light that should be visible for up to 3 miles but owners could add more lights. Drones move differently than planes or helicopters because they can stop quickly and pivot 90 degrees while changing direction.
The FBI has received numerous tips and reports of 5.000 drone sightings in the last several weeks across the U.S. There are more than one million drones lawfully registered with the FAA in the United States and with advancements in technology, more are expected.
Here's what to do if you think a drone is spying on you.
