With only two days left in this year’s bell-ringing campaign, The Salvation Army in Texarkana is behind in its fundraising goal for 2024. The Red Kettle Campaign is the Salvation Army’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and they are asking the community for help.

Captain Juan Gomez of The Salvation Army said in a press release,

We want to thank the community for their incredible support and ask everyone to give what they can in these last few days of the 2024 Red Kettle Campaign. We are far behind our $100,000 fundraising goal as we approach the four busiest bell-ringing days before Christmas. We are hoping the community will step up in these final days to help us reach our goal, so we can continue to offer essential help and care to those who need it, not just at Christmas, but all year long.
