Southwest Arkansas Electric Cooperative COVID-19 Preventive Measures
Southwest Arkansas Electric Cooperative is taking precautions regarding the spreading of COVID-19.
Beginning Tuesday, March 17, the lobbies of the District offices in Bradley, Nashville, and De Queen and the Headquarters office in Texarkana are closed to the members and the public.
Other preventative measures include: asking vendors and contractors to suspend or reschedule meetings; changing work schedules or locations to improve social distancing; practicing social separation; separating working groups; and many other preventative measures.
Members may conduct business with the Cooperative by calling any of SWAECC’s District offices in Texarkana, in Bradley, Nashville or De Queen at 870-772-2743; using an over-the-phone payment method by calling 1-888-999-2101; emailing the Member Services Department at firstname.lastname@example.org; using the Cooperative’s SmartHub Mobile App; MoneyGram; or using the payment kiosks that are located in all offices 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Any members who need more time to pay their electric bill may call SWAECC and speak with a member service representative. Additional information may be found on the Cooperative’s Facebook page or Webpage.
We can help prevent the spread of illness by following the Centers for Disease Control and Preventions’ recommendations:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
- Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.
- Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze and then dispose of it.
- Stay home if you are sick and limit contact with others in your household.
- Clean and disinfect frequently-touched surfaces such as doorknobs and phones each day.
