Just off a 3 day weekend which included a couple of days in this report. Last week's arrest numbers went up a little from the week before with 63 total arrests in Bowie County last week. Just a bit more, up from 59 the week before. Bowie County Deputies made 20 of those arrests, while other area law enforcement agencies brought in 43.
Thank goodness the arrest numbers went the other way this week from 94 two weeks ago down to 80 last week. Those may not be good numbers, but they are better. Your Bowie County Sheriff's Deputies processed 28 of those, while other area law enforcement agencies in Bowie County brought in 52.
It was a week of pure love in Bowie County as we made the transition from Valentine's to Mardi Gras weekend, or not. Either way, your Bowie County Sheriff's Office stayed busy as always. Last week Bowie County Sheriff's Deputies logged a total of 78 arrests around the County, 37 of those brought in by BCSO, while 41 were turned over by other area law enforcement agencies in Bowie County.
