Just off a 3 day weekend which included a couple of days in this report.  Last week's arrest numbers went up a little from the week before with 63 total arrests in Bowie County last week. Just a bit more, up from 59 the week before. Bowie County Deputies made 20 of those arrests, while other area law enforcement agencies brought in 43.

An officer-involved shooting has been reported by the Texas Department of Public Safety Office out of Texarkana, Texas.

There is ongoing construction on Interstate 30 which will affect people traveling East in the Hooks and Leary Texas area.
