Main Street Arkansas

Main Street Arkansas is hosting a free workshop on Thursday, October 24, 2024, for communities interested in applying to the 2025 program or learning about improving their downtown areas. The workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Arkansas Heritage Building in Little Rock, with lunch provided.

Members of the Main Street Arkansas community gathered to receive ceremonial checks in Argenta Plaza, North Little Rock, on June 11. Texarkana, Arkansas was the recipient of one of those checks.

Main Street Texarkana has been honored with a Main Street Arkansas Award for its downtown revitalization efforts.

Main Street Arkansas has awarded $200,000 for Arkansas projects through its Main Street Arkansas “Slipcover” Removal and Downtown Revitalization Grant programs, Governor Asa Hutchinson announced today. Main Street Arkansas is a program area of the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program. Texarkana is one of several towns that will benefit from these grants.
