Our spooky month continues with activity and arrests from week #2. Bowie County Sheriff Jeff Neal is reporting that there were 64 persons arrested in the county last week. Bowie County deputies brought in 18 of those, while another 46 were turned over by other law enforcement agencies to BCSO.

Harvest Regional Food Bank will be returning to New Boston to take care of Texas residents living around the Bowie County area on Wednesday, October 16 starting at 8:30 AM.

Hempstead County Sheriff's are investigating the gruesome discovery of a body in a railroad car this morning at a Tyson Plant near Fulton, Arkansas.

You knew it was too good to last, we went from one of the slowest weeks of 2023 back to pretty much normal last week in Bowie County. Your Sheriff's Report has a total of 59 people arrested last week in the county. Bowie County Deputies arrested 19 of those, and other area law enforcement agencies arrested 40 and turned them over to the County.
