Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin issued a statement on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, announcing the arrest of Austin Norris, 28, of Watts, Oklahoma. Norris faces a federal charge for receiving or distributing material involving the sexual exploitation of a minor.

Wednesday marks the 12th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Memorial services will be held all across the country, many involving a reading of the victims' names.

September 11th, 2001 began like any other day as I hurried about the bank tending to customers' needs. “May I help you,” I asked each new customer who came in, forgetting that there was a world outside the branch. Then the doors swung open and a somber-faced policeman entered to tell us that the world had changed forever.

There are lots of ways to save a life. You can donate blood, volunteer at an animal shelter or, apparently, almost run someone over as she’s on her way to certain doom.
