Texarkana Solarbration

After a threat of rain forecast on Monday, April 8, 2024, for the Total Solar Eclipse, it turned out to be a beautiful day as folks gathered downtown for the Texarkana Solarbration.

Arkansas and Texas Eclipse travelers, you better pay attention to this. When I first saw this story yesterday, April 1, I thought for sure it was some kind of April Fools Joke. Apparently, it is not a joke. The path of the April 8, 2024, eclipse has indeed shifted a bit, and gotten a little wider.

With the Total Solar Eclipse less than a month away it seems only fitting that there should be a special night for the Texarkana Solarbration as the Texarkana Symphony and Jeans 'n Classics team up to present Dark Side of The Moon - The Music of Pink Floyd.

We're just a little over a month away from what Texarkana is calling Solarbration 2024. Just keep praying the skies will be clear so we can all get a good look at this rare event.
